Ironman Training Weekend Breaks: Get in training for IRONMAN Wales.Pembrokeshire is the home of one of the UK's toughest endurance events - IRONMAN Wales - and you could be experiencing the best in training with Bluestone National Park and the event's organisers with an exclusive IRONMAN Training Weekend in April or July 2013. Whether you are planning on competing in IRONMAN Wales or just want to test your level of endurance and fitness, this 2-day training weekend will certainly test you, physically and mentally, and get you ready for the challenge. Starting on 26th April or 5th July, expert coaches from trilife.com will be running the IRONMAN Wales Preparation Weekends, which have been designed to provide you with a chance to get used to all the aspects of the location, courses and the race. Set in 500 acres of amazing countryside within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Bluestone is the perfect place to test your endurance, be it competing in triathlon, cycling, endurance events, or just an active holiday. The IRONMAN Training Weekend Break includes:
- 3 night weekend break - arriving 26th April or 5th July - in luxury accommodation.
- 2 day training package at additional £135 per participant (Saturday and Sunday).
- Expert coaching sessions from trilife.com experts.
- Complimentary access to the Blue Lagoon Water Park and indoor Adventure Centre for all the family.
Terms & Conditions:
Participants will be able to ride a lap of the bike course, practice and review the Ironman pacing with a coached run off the bike, an open water swim session (weather permitting) and walk through the transitions. Trilife.com will run a seminar and Ironman staff will be present for any questions. Be aware: the preparation weekend involves some strenuous physical activity. All participants should be sure they are in good health before taking part in the weekend, and if they have only recently begun training for the event, should seek medical advice before participating. Weekend stay only contains two training days on the Saturday and Sunday. Participants are required to bring their own equipment for the Ironman Preparation.
