For a holiday with a difference stay in a log cabin, camp or caravan in the heart of a British forest. Cabins vary from Log Cabins to Luxury Lodges with hot tubs and Tree Houses! Enjoy walks through the forest enjoying the wild life or try an activity such as archery or fishing. Learn more about nature from the forest rangers who offer daytime explorations and then see everything change with a Dusktime walk. All accommodation types include a mix of pet friendly and non pet friendly accommodation so there is no need to leave Fido at home. In pet friendly accommodation up to 3 dogs are welcome at an additional £6 per dog per night.
Forest Holidays Cabins
Copper Beech – these cabins do not have a hot tub and are two or three bedroomed. Featuring a double bedroom possibly with an en-suite shower room and at least on additional twin bed room with a separate shower or bath room. A well equipped kitchen. For entertainment there is a flat screen TV and DVD in most cabins. Some cabins feature an in-cabin entertainment system for an additional fee.
Silver Birch – Deluxe two and three bedroomed cabins with a hot tub. Have a double bedroom usually with an ensuite and twin bedroom(s) with a separate shower or bath room.
Golden Oak – These are the most luxurious and have one, two or three bedrooms with sumptuous bed linen and furnishings, In the master bathroom there are complementary bath robes and slippers. They feature a log-burning stove and a fully integrated kitchen. For entertainment there is an outdoor hot tub, a flat screen TV and DVD player and a Wii games console.
Golden Oak Cottage – This is wonderful accommodation for a romantic holiday with a hot tub and sauna. It features one luxurious bedroom with en-suite bath as well as a shower room.
Golden Oak Plus – Two storey four bedroomed cabins featuring two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. A five bedroomed terrace is also available. Entertainment is a flat screen TV and DVD or possible an in-house entertainment system(a small charge is payable for this) and a Wii games console.
Golden Oak Treehouse – is the same as the Golden Oak Plus with an additional treehouse reached via a swinging bridge that sleeps an additional two people.
Camping & Caravan
For a cheaper holiday in the same glorious surroundings try one of the twenty camping and caravan sites. Bring your own tent or sleep in one of our pre pitched tents all are welcome including the dog. Most sites feature a shop and electric showers the individual web links provide details of any additional items you might need such as rock suitable tent pegs.

This really is an escape from it all holiday with cabins available in Cropton, Kelly, Forest of Dean, Deer Park and of course Sherwood Forest. In Scotland the cabins nestle on the banks of lochs in Argyll and Strathyre.
Camping and caravan sites are available at Forest of Dean, New Forest, Wiltshire, North Yorkshire and Norfolk in England as well as Ardgarton, Cashel, Cobleland and Glenmore in Scotland and Beddgelet in Wales.
